This is a drawing of our 2 cowboys: Doc & Wyatt.
They are twin, 6 year old kittens. It always amazes me, how they can be so identical and yet so different, in both personalities and appearances.
In the winter months, Wyatt grows this incredible mane.
You can see by his forward stance, his need to counter balance the extra weight of it.
For camouflage, the boy's underlying fur turns from a light tan in the summer, to a light grey in the winter. Or rather the extra winter coat comes in light grey. And believe me it works. It is hard to spot them in the woods, unless they are moving.
  
     
 
Ce dessin représente nos deux cowboys: Doc & Wyatt.
Ils sont des chatons jumeller, de 6 ans. Cela m'étonne toujours de les voir si identique, mais quand même trés différent, physiquement et en leurs comportement.
Pendant l'hiver, Wyatt se fait pousser une crinière fantastique, tout comme un lion..
Vous pouvez voir son élan avancée, à cause du besoin de rédistribuer son poids pour être en équilibre.
Pour se camoufler, le couleur de fond en brun change. Leurs fourrures s'epaissent en couleur gris. Et cela marche à merveille. C'est difficile de les appercevoir dans les bois, a moins qu'ils bougent.
