I draw things in & shade things out.
My goal is to express the most important aspects of my subject.
I picture each muscle, each feature, each shadow and highlight of contour, to portray the desired expression of the personality.

The co-creation is pretty exciting. You can get involved as much or as little as you want, within reason.

I am a perfectionist. I draw and stare, until they stare back.
I work the highlights and shadows of the entire subject to make them pop off the page.
