Guarantee for my Custom Design Graphite Artwork

People can be understandably nervous when ordering a unique custom drawing of a loved one, from a stranger -- especially over the Internet. They imagine opening the package containing their much-anticipated portrait when it arrives and feeling their heart sink when it doesn't meet their expectations.

Rest Assured this won't happen with NanasArt. Here's Why:

you can have a look around my website, look at my artwork, read all the information, including recommendations and quotes attached to some of the larger versions of Military Artwork. Visit my Face book page and interact with works in progress. Get a feeling for what I do.
we will talk about the portrait subject, your expectations, my work process, deadlines and price.
we will work together to help you take or find the best photos of your subject for the portrait.
when you decide to commission me to draw the portrait, we both sign a Portrait Contract spelling out this guarantee and other rights each of us have doing business together.
once you feel comfortable, you'll send me the signed contract and half of the agreed upon price (minus S + H),to secure my time for drawing your portrait.
Once payment is received, I commence drawing.
I'll be in touch with you as I work on your portrait and send you photos of my drawing progress to get your comments and suggestions sooner, rather than later.
the deposit is non-refundable after you approve an e-photo of the initial drawing.
I send you e-photos of my progress, welcoming your suggestions and comments.
Once completed, I send another e- photo of the drawing for your final approval.
Once approval and payment are received, I ship your portrait to you.

You do not take delivery if you are not 100% delighted with the e-photo of the final drawing of your Portrait. You will not owe the balance of the commission payment. (If this should happen, I will keep the portrait, which will be offered for sale to other buyers.)

You will be on board with me every step of the way. It's Exciting.

But wait ... there's more ... I can promise a pleasant surprise when you open the package containing your original work of art. Photographs never entirely do justice to the original; Art or Scenery. The real thing always has special impact.

If you love your portrait on your computer monitor, you'll be thrilled with it hanging on your wall. Details will be more delicate, shading will be more subtle and textures will be more vivid than you ever expected. Life-like qualities will pop off the page.

To ensure the your long lasting satisfaction, all Artwork is drawn on 100% Acid-Free*, 100 % Lignan-Free *paper. The finished drawing is sprayed with a fixative to prevent smudging.
*This means the paper will not yellow or fade over time. Graphite itself is resistant to fading.

Shipping & Handling & Guarantees for Original Custom Artwork
As soon as I receive final payment for your Artwork, it will be shipped via Canada Post. I ship all artwork insured and registered. Most Artwork is shipped flat, and well-packaged to prevent damage during transit and you will be provided with a tracking number for your parcel. If there are other considerations or additional details, I shall let you know, within the best of my ability, at the time of the contract. I do not ship framed artwork.
If for some reason a piece of artwork is damaged or unsatisfactory upon receipt, it must be returned within 10 business days, in the condition it was received, with the original packaging. It will be replaced (meaning I will re-draw, within reason) or refunded minus S & H, (on a case per case basis; depending on what is most feasible at the time). Take a photo of the damaged goods, and please forward it to me, with an explanation of the situation, preferably by e-mail. You must notify me, prior to returning artwork products.

Guarantee for Gift Shop Artwork items
My Gift Shop ArtWork items are 100% Guaranteed* (minus S & H* costs which are non-refundable). If you are not satisfied, they must be returned within 10 business days, in the condition they were received in, with the original packaging. They will be replaced or refunded. Take a photo of the damaged goods, and please forward it to me, with an explanation of the situation, preferably by e-mail.
You must notify me, prior to returning artwork products.

All of my Art Work is protected under the Copyright Act.

This applies to ArtWork that I may design for you. You may not reproduce the artwork in any way, shape or form, without my prior written consent. If you would like reproductions of ArtWork I have designed, drawn or painted, please ask me. Once artwork is complete, I can transfer the artwork to various desktop publishing platforms. (such as e-files, Prints, Greeting Cards, Bookmarks, Magnets, Business Cards, Letterhead, etc)
I may use samples of the custom designed artwork on my website, Facebook page, and/or for promotional purposes. These details are found within each individual contract.

Using Custom ArtWork on business related platforms.

You may want to use a custom designed work of Art on your business Card, Sign, stationary, etc. There are supplementary Licensing Fees, which vary depending on their specific use and duration. These licenses can only be used for the purpose stated therein, and any other use would constitute a violation of the Copyright Act. This Licensing fee is in addition to the fee of Artwork Creation. You could also purchase the Copyrights to the Work of Art, outright, and I would not be able to use the work of Art in any way, shape or form. All details will be in the Licensing Agreement. Please notify me if you wish for me to create Artwork for business-related usage.

Any Personal information submitted will be used only for the purpose of completing the transaction, delivering the product and addressing any customer service issues, and if you wish I may keep you on a contact list for future similar Art products or Promotions. Any completed Artwork displayed for promotional purposes within NanasArt, will bear no connection to the client. Please advise me of any concerns that you may have in advance, or as they arise, so that I may action any necessary changes. Thanks.

Facebook is a wonderful way to share in the progress of your Custom Graphite Portrait. Send me a FB 'add as friend' request, I shall confirm within a few days. Please notify me of any friends or family members, who also want to share in the progress. They should also send me a FB 'add as friend' request.
Rest assured that my NanasArt page will only display comments directly to me on my Wall, along with comments within my photo albums, or attached to the photos within.
